Food Allergy

Food allergies can cause a variety to symptoms. Symptoms may occur immediately upon ingesting an allergic food or may not occur for as long as 72 to 96 hours after ingestion. Please answer each of these questions to determine in food allergies may be causing some of your health concerns:

Do specific foods produce hives (rash) all over your body?
Do specific foods cause your throat to swell?
After eating certain foods have you had to go to the emergency room for treatment of anaphylactic shock?
Do you experience recurrent abdominal cramping?
Do you have ongoing joint pain(s) for no apparent reason?
Do you experience diffuse muscle pain(s) for no apparent reason?
Do you experience recurrent diarrhea or constipation?
Do you experience depression or recurrent depressive symptoms?
Do you have difficulty concentrating?
Do you have difficulty with insomnia of sleep?
Do you have eczema?
Do you have ongoing fatigue?
Do you experience periodic fatigue after eating meals?
Do you experience heartburn or indigestion?
Do you experience rectal itching?
Do you have chronic migraine headaches?
Do you have nighttime enuresis (bed-wetting)?
Do certain foods cause your lips to swell or produce a red rash around your mouth?
Do you have chronic runny nose or nasal congestion?
Do you experience recurrent nausea and/or vomiting?

Check your scores against the following results key. If your score is:
Below 9 - Food Allergy is unlikely
Between 10 - 17 - Food Allergy are a possibility
Above 17 - Food Allergy are very likely.  Further evaluation may be warranted.
